  • Arcadia Homes

    Back
Arcadia is a small, affluent neighborhood that spans from Scottsdale to Phoenix. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Arcadia area, Arcadia isn't a city. The mailing address is Phoenix, but if someone were to ask you where you live, you would happily say Arcadia. This highly sought after part of Phoenix is on fire and it doesn't look like the hype will be dying down anytime soon.

Arcadia was originally a citrus farm attracting wealthy investors who wanted to live in the Suburbs. The Arcadia homes were small but the land plots were large and the homes acquired a charming feel that quickly appealed to more than just investors. Fast forward to the 2000's and Arcadia homes are more desirable than Scottsdale and Paradise Valley.

The development around Arcadia includes Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, the Biltmore, high-end resorts, restaurants, a variety of fitness options both inside and outside including hiking Camelback Mountain and Arcadia Country Club. Arcadia has grown so much that there are now different sections of Arcadia: Arcadia Proper, Arcadia Lite, and Arcadia Lower.

The attraction to Arcadia stems from both the location and the homes. Arcadia is close to Scottsdale, Downtown Phoenix, the airport, Camelback Mountain, and freeways. People walk, run and ride their bikes on the canal every single day. When driving through the neighborhood, you will notice a number of houses that have been scrapped and rebuilt. Your head is on a swivel because Arcadia homes are big, beautiful and have a style that you wouldn't expect to be in Arizona.

Some Arcadia homes have an estate feel with their grand presence while others have the rustic farmhouse feel. Both styles of Arcadia homes are equally enticing, charming and will wow you!  Once you experience the Arcadia lifestyle and see all of the fabulous Arcadia homes, you will understand why Phoenix residents can't get enough!
